Kevin + Jacqueline Same Day Premiere
Monday, July 11, 2011 at 2:24AM I love shooting friend's weddings! We had the pleasure of documenting Kevin and Jacqueline's wedding day and we saw so many friendly faces. Their wedding felt like it was from another time. Birdcage veil, Chuck Taylors, and suspenders were among the chosen attire. Our friends Doug and Ashley of DnA Photography even got into the old-school feeling with a large format Polaroid camera. I hope they post those amazing pictures on their blog! The lovely couple held their entire event at The Lodge at Torrey Pines which might just be the perfect venue. I could be a little biased since I proposed to my fiancee just a mile away at Torrey Pines State Park :) They held their ceremony in the round underneath a chuppah, which is something I don't see very often. I loved it! It made for a very intimate setting and it was easy to capture guest reactions (which is something we very much enjoy). I have to admit, event though there were a lot of great moments that day, my favorite was watching the Same Day Premiere with my fiancee sitting next to me. That also doesn't happen very often! It's one of the perks of shooting friend's weddings! So without further ado I present to you Kevin and Jacqueline Hee!
