Liz + Dave Same Day Premiere
Monday, September 5, 2011 at 10:12AM Happy Labor Day! Hope everyone is enjoying a nice day off from work. Me? I'm getting married in less than 5 weeks and I've got way too much to do! First item on the list for today - blog post! We shot and edited this video last night for Liz and Dave. They had their wedding at one of our favorite spots in San Diego, at the Scripps Forum in La Jolla. If you're thinking about having your wedding there, you might want to book early - I've heard they are booked solid through 2012! Liz and Dave were a pleasure to work with and we thoroughly enjoyed spending the day with them and creating this video. Liz picked the song after she heard it on "So You Think You Can Dance". What a great song! It's called "Turn to Stone" by Ingrid Michaelson. And of course the day wouldn't have been half as fun without our favorite photographers, Rico and Rachel of Studio Castillero :) I know I talk about them all the time, but if you haven't been to their site lately you should go now - they just updated it and it looks awesome! We also had the pleasure of working with Andy of Disc Go Round, such a great DJ and all around awesome dude. Sabrina of La Dolce Idea was there to coordinate and make sure everything ran smoothly, and she did it with a calm, sweet demeanor! Thanks for picking such chill vendors Liz and Dave! Ok, onto the video - there's a part in the middle that I really enjoy: Liz's dad walks into the bridal room and sees her for the first time...such a tender moment! Enjoy :)

Besides the couple being beautiful and the wedding gorgeous, I would like to give Aqua Vivus a few praising words...
Honestly, you guys must be some of the best at understanding human behavior and psychology and how we as humans are emotionally affected!
This video (which just adds to the pile) really shows the genius in the way you guys master the art of storytelling! The Aqua Vivus way of doing it affects people in such an honest and sincere way. You show them the beauty of their lives and capture their moments of happiness, always to be remembered. It is something about how you film it, how you edit it, and how you ultimately put music to those magical images you have captured. The result is such an inspired film that can never be valued in currency. This film (and your whole business idea) is an inspiration and happiness in all its essence of the words!
Goosebumps is all I can say. Lots of them!
Thank you so much for capturing the beauty of moments the way you do!
